Falling under both rare item and funny cover catagories, here is an ebay listing for the Ultimate Teacher laserdisc put out in the early 1990’s by Central Park Media. Though a little on the pricey side, if you are looking for anime from the 1990’s that DVD forgot this is a good find.

While certainly not what most would consider a “classic” by any means, Wanna-Be’s still has its small footnote in anime history as a fun little OVA from the early 1990’s. Here is an eBay listing for the laserdisc of this title which never made the jump to DVD.

Today’s find is an eBay listing for the original Sol Bianca OVA released by AD Vision in the early 1990’s. This (as well as volume 2) was also released on VHS also by AD Vision. Volume 2 was never released on laserdisc in the US. As this has never made it to DVD (in the US, there is a low-end edited version in the UK) it is rather rare.

Here is an eBay listing for the VHS release of Megami Paradise. Never released on DVD (or laserdisc to my knowledge), Megami Paradise was released by AD Vision in the late 1990’s. While not “the greatest anime” by any means, it is still a fun bit of anime history.
